Welcome to the JpGU-AGU Joint Meeting 2020 in Makuhari, Japan !
We would be grateful if you could start now thinking of sessions for the JpGU-AGU Joint Meeting 2020
that will take place May 24-28 at the
Makuhari Messe (Chiba Prefecture), Japan.
We are excited about the JpGU-AGU joint organization and hope you are too. We will have a call for session from September 2.
We would like to have many sessions proposed by the next generation of scientists (students and early-to-mid career members)
from both of our societies. In addition, we strongly encourage session proposals from female members so to get their perspectives.
Our joint program theme is
"For a Borderless World of Geoscience". We are inspired by the words of Louis Pasteur
"Science knows no country, because knowledge belongs to humanity, and is the torch which illuminates the world".
Our JpGU-AGU Joint Meeting 2020 wishes to hear about your insights and discoveries.
By specifically seeking to diversify the voices of the JpGU-AGU Joint Meeting 2020, we wish to add vitality and new blood to our science discussions.
If you have not proposed a session before, then please take this opportunity to do so.
We look forward to seeing you at the JpGU-AGU Joint meeting 2020 in Makuhari next May.
Best regards and wishes,
2020 Joint Program Committee Co-Chairs
