スコープ和文地球における生命の活動は、地球史を通じた様々な物理・化学的なダイナミクスおよびプロセスと密接に関わっており、その本質は「生命活動」、「水」、「鉱物（固体地球）」、「大気」の各因子間、あるいは多元的に生じる相互作用にあるとみなすことができる。このような複雑な「生命-水-鉱物-大気相互作用」を既存の単一の科学領域で解き明かすことは不可能であり、多様な研究分野、研究者、或いは研究アイデア・手法の連携、さらには融合が不可欠である。本セッションはその道標となる場を提供する。
英文Life on Earth is based on a diversity of physical and chemical dynamics and processes throughout the history of the Earth. It can essentially be regarded as the history of interrelation between Life, Water, Mineral (Solid Earth) and Atmosphere. To solve this kind of complex systems problems, interdisciplinary approach, a way of thinking and communication, is necessary. This session will be a cradle for such interdisciplinary researches.
