連合では、環境災害対応委員会を設置し、環境や災害に関する諸問題への対処をしてきた。2011年3月11日に発生した東日本大震災は、単一学会では対処できない、環境と災害が密接に関係した問題が現実に起こることを示した。本セッションでは、東日本大震災やその他の大規模災害時における各学協会の活動について情報共有をはかり、複数の学協会にまたがる環境と災害の問題に対して各学協会の枠を超えた実質的な連携を促進する上で連合にどのような体制を築いていくべきか、また2016年に発足する防災学術連携体との連携について議論する。発表は学協会からの推薦者で構成する予定である。

Since FY2008, JpGU organized the Environment and Disaster Coping Committee and tried to cope with various environmental and hazardous issues. The 2011 Off the Pacific coast of Tohoku Earthquake clearly showed us real great damages caused by combined effect of environment and disaster. In this session, we will share our past activities related with major disasters, and will discuss how JpGU will organize the framework to enhance the real cooperation among different associations and how JpGU will cooperate with Japan Academic Network for Disaster Reduction to be established in 2016. All the presentations will be made by speakers nominated by each association.
