本セッションは古環境変動に関わる幅広い分野を取り扱う。本年は特に陸域気候変動・海洋変動および両者の相互作用の変遷に関わる研究を歓迎する。海洋／湖沼堆積物・土壌・鍾乳石・サンゴやそれらに含まれる化石などを用いて、数十年から数億年にわたる様々な時間スケールの気候・海洋変動を精緻に編年かつ復元し、地球科学の諸分野から得られた時系列データ（太陽活動、ミランコビッチ・サイクル、大気組成、海水・氷床量、テクトニクスなど）と有機的に統合させて、環境変動のメカニズムを議論する。 |

This session treats
the topics from various paleosciences related to the 10 -100,000,000
year-scale variability of climate-ocean systems. We encourage you to
submit your studies on the terrestrial climate, paleoceanography,
and the linkage/interaction between them. Discussion will be focused
on the dating and the reconstruction of past environmental changes
using paleoarchives such as marine/lacustrine sediments, soil,
stalagmites, corals, and fossil records, which will be compared with
the temporal variations of the fundamental boundary conditions such
as solar activity, Milankovitch cycle, atmospheric composition, sea
level-ice volume changes, tectonics etc. |
